Drama is offered throughout the year levels and can be continued through to Year 12 as a senior subject.
By studying Drama, students have ample opportunity to work with others sharing and exploring ideas in a range of contexts. Students will gain confidence performing in front of others and learn to give and accept feedback through reflection on their own and others' work. Students develop literacy, confidence and self discipline, and ultimately discover their own potential in Performing Arts.
Students have the opportunity to integrate technology to extend artistry within performance and for research, developing and expressing ideas, and play building. By studying Drama, students develop personal confidence, communication and group skills, as well as knowledge and experience in the performance environment. Relevant and interesting contexts are explored in the drama domain and ideas can be developed to create new work.
Further opportunities exist for the Drama student within the College. These include developing dramatic work for celebrations, assemblies and school productions.
