BYOD refers to students bringing a personally owned device to school for the purpose of learning and accessing the internet. A personally owned device is any device brought to school and is owned by the student or the student’s family. It will be necessary for the device to be able to access essential software, e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, etc. At Ryan Catholic College this is achieved through access to the free Google Suite of programs.
