Prep, the Early Years education program at Ryan, provides students with firm foundations.

Our program provides a holistic approach to the development of each child - spiritually, academically, socially, physically and emotionally. In Prep, we provide experiences that allow children to interact with the world around them.

Ryan Catholic College provides a comprehensive curriculum for primary students, which covers a wide range of Key Learning Areas (KLAs). The curriculum is designed to provide a balanced education and ensure that students acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to succeed academically and socially.

Religious Education is a core subject at Ryan Catholic College, and it is aimed at developing students' understanding of the Catholic faith, its teachings, traditions and values. The curriculum includes the study of scripture, liturgy, morality, spirituality and social justice.

English is designed to establish students' communication skills, both written and oral. Mathematics aims to flourish students' numeracy skills, logical thinking, problem-solving and reasoning. Science expands students' understanding of the natural world, scientific principles, and inquiry skills.   Technology in the modern world aims to develop students' skills in designing, creating and using technologies. Humanities and Social Science (HASS) focuses on developing students' understanding of the social, economic, geographical, and historical factors that shape our world. Physical Education promotes students' physical fitness, health and well-being, and sportsmanship. The Arts foster students' creativity, imagination and self-expression, and it covers a wide range of art forms, including visual arts, music, drama, dance and media. The comprehensive curriculum at Ryan Catholic College aims to provide students with a well-rounded education that equips them with the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to succeed academically, socially and personally.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land, the Wulgurukaba people. We also acknowledge their neighbouring brothers and sisters on the land, the Bindal people. We pay our respects to elders past present and emerging. May we walk gently and peacefully on this land together.
