Just One Thing
Imagine if every Ryan family did just one thing…
If every family committed to just one small act of service, we would have:
- every event fully supported,
- stronger connection between families and the College,
- more opportunities for our students, and
- we would never be short on helpers.
A message from our P&F Team
“In 2026 we are again asking every family to volunteer / commit to at least "Just One Thing" to support and foster continual improvement in our Ryan Catholic College community. Volunteering is a link between parents, staff and students and is one avenue for families to be a valuable part of our school community.
Together we can all work towards keeping our College a wonderful place of learning while continuing the tradition of Ryan community spirit.
Ryan Fair is a wonderful night of fun for the whole family (rides, stalls, food/drink and entertainment), and is our major fundraising event for the year.”
How to Get Involved
Please take a few moments to:
- view the list of 2026 P&F events and activities,
- access the ‘Just One Thing’ form here,
- tick one box (or more, if you wish!) to indicate where you’re able to help, and
- submit your interest.
We’ll then contact you with more information as the event gets closer.
Some of the Events and Activities we could use your help include:
- Regular attendance at P & F meetings
- Parent Engagement - Year Level Function or Gathering for example, Golf Day, Race Day
- Junior Campus Tuckshop
- Graduation Dinner
- Yuletide BBQ & drinks
- Musical BBQ
- Mother's Day Stall
- Father's Day Stall
- RYAN FAIR: Committee, Cake and Sweets Cooking, and more.
We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and waters, the Wulgurukaba, and that this country has been a place of learning and ceremony for tens of thousands of years. We also acknowledge the neighbouring language groups as brothers and sisters of the land. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. May we walk gently and peacefully on this land together.
